Watch the video. That crazy sexcapade called Fleet Week is raging through New York City’s streets, mattresses, dark alleys, and parks again. I love it because men and women from the Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard certainly deserve sexual healing.
News items about sex in the military have traditionally highlighted: Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell; barring same-sex unions; and sexual assault. At a time when women Newsweek reports women in the armed forces are now more likely to be assaulted by a fellow soldier than killed in combat, we certainly need media coverage of such stories. At the same time, as a sex educator, it’s important to discuss positive sexuality, too. So I was thrilled when HuffPost Live invited me on air to chat about Fleet Week hookups.
Hurray for eager, enthusiastic consent to sex with sailors, marines, and the men and women from the U.S. Coast Guard! If you’re New York and down for grinding, make sure your genitals properly salute our men and women in uniform. Go ahead! Rip those sexy panties and boxers off. Just remember to be safe: Don’t let a sexual health “oops” spoil your romps with the troops.
